MX518 Review

Obviously on a site devoted to the mx518, it is going to get a good review. However, I will try to focus on why I think it is a great mouse.

The mx518 is a great mouse for many reasons. It is the best mouse I have used for gaming. One important thing to a mouse is ergonomics. The mx518 feels very comfortable. This is somewhat subjective though, since different shaped mice are comfortable to different people.

Gaming performance

The second reason it is a great mouse is because of its gaming performance. The easy to reach extra buttons, the ability to change sensitivity on the fly, the precise pointer are all reasons why this mouse excels in gaming applications. I have tried other gaming mice, and I have found the mx518 the easiest to use.

Cost

The mx518 is a very affordable mouse. You can get one for under 50 dollars now. This is a great price compared to some of the other gaming mice. Also, I would prefer this mouse to most of the other gaming mice even if they were the same price.

Appearance

The mx518 is a very cool looking mouse. It probably won't turn too many heads anymore since it is so popular. However, the looks will impress non-gamers for sure.

Negatives

I have heard a few people that have had problems with the mouse dieing on them after some time. Many of these people said they were pretty rough on it though. Also, Logitech will often times replace these mice for free if they go bad.
